When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things.
We are very excited about our internship (unpaid) and apprenticeships (unpaid or paied). It is here where a small number of committed youth go to get the most out of what we have to offer. It is here that we strive to help youth take real steps toward becoming independent adults.
Some days we run the Casa De Belen Bike shop, while on others we jump in the van and serve in the community. Want a full day of riding? We do just that as we support and partake in local events. Everyday though, will be sprinkled with conversations that help encourage us to move towards stable adulthood.
From youth development "staff meetings" where we talk about life and learn about God's story, to casual lunches with special guests who share their own journeys & struggles, we are excited to get to know you and hang out. If you are serious about growing, and interested in being one of the few youth in this apprenticeship, sign up now.
Apprenticeships come on a first come first serve, or most need basis. Pre-requisites may be required, such as 50-100 hours in the shop prior to officially starting.
